the hotel is really nice and the staff is super helpful. rooms are spacious and comfy with a lovely balcony view of the garden. the gardens are beautifull and well-kept, making it pretty nice to chill outside....  

The food in their restaurant was incredible and well-priced.

Upon arrival, we found that the air conditioning was broken in our room. Despite being informed that it was newly replaced, the hotel did not have an effective solution in place. We had to ask the reception multiple times for help before finally receiving a lesser quality room without a balcony, which was very disappointing.

Just a good pick for a brief pause in Funchal with good price value. The gym was well-equipped for a decent workout during our stay. Consider using the courtesy bus for easier access to the city centre, especially in the heat.

I tried out the Poncha Workshop, and it was a fun evening activity. The bar area really stood out. it was nicely set up and great for gathering. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room didn’t work initially, but the staff was quick to offer a fan as a temporary fix. The indoor pool needed more care, as it had noticeable debris. The outdoor pool area also felt neglected at times, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Although I enjoyed the peaceful vibe of the hotel, accessibility to nearby bars and restaurants was limited. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the nearest options, which might not work for everyone. had a lovely stay but some areas could use attention.
